I can’t say I love all animals because I haven’t spent enough time with the ones I have met, let alone the ones that I haven’t met. All I know is that the way we, as a society, view and treat non-human animals causes a lot of pain and suffering.

(much the same with humans, but I believe if we treat animals right, the same compassion can be extended to humans)
